We all have the choice to either accept God and the grace, salvation, and the love He offers us, or we can choose to reject God and live life the way that we think is best. When we reject God and live by the way we think is best, we sin against God. Sin is actively rebelling against God and His standard. Because of our sin, God demands justice to be done. Can you be a "good person" and go to heaven?

DO YOU WANT TO SAVED FROM THIS BROKEN WORLD?

1 – Why We Need Salvation – Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Every person in the world has sinned and displeased God. It doesn’t matter how good of a person or rule-follower you are – you are just as guilty of sinning. We all need salvation because we all have sinned.

2 – The Consequences of Sin – Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, “
This tells us what the consequences are when we do sin. Our sin causes us to die, not just physically, but eternally too. The consequence of sin is death.

3 – How God Provided Salvation – Romans 5:8 -“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.
Jesus died for our sins. His death paid the price for all of our sins.

4 – How We Can Receive Salvation – Romans 10:9-10,13 – “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved … For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Because Jesus died on our behalf, all we do is have to believe in Him. When we trust that His death paid for our sins and ask Him to be our Lord and Savior, we will be saved. Both salvation and forgiveness are given to anyone who trusts and believes in Him. We receive salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

5 – The Results of Salvation – Romans 5:1 & 8:1 – Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Because of Jesus’ death, even though we continue to sin, we will never be condemned for our sins. Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God.

Nothing about a relationships with Jesus has to do with what you HAVE or HAVEN’T done. It’s not about works, but about grace and faith. The truth is Jesus is the only perfect person. All you have to do to be in a personal relationship with Jesus (become a Christian, a believer, saved – however you want to word it) is admit you are a sinner, believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins, repent from your sins and your former life, and ask Him to come into your life to be your savior.
